Librarian - Scarborough

Stirling Libraries are seeking two suitably qualified Librarians to provide support to the Branch Librarian in the overall administration of Scarborough Library. Key duties include assisting the public with programmes and services as part of the cultural, educational and informational functions of the library.
Excellent communication and technological skills, strong organisational abilities and experience in providing a high level of customer service are essential. The successful candidates will be required to work rostered hours and will need to possess a Working with Children Check. Successful applicants must also have eligibility for Associate Membership of the Australian Library and Information Association.
The successful candidate must be able to work:
Permanent Full-time – Scarborough
Monday - 9.00am-8.00pm
Tuesday - 8.30am-12.30pm (alternate)
Wednesday - 8.30am-5.30pm
Thursday - 8.00am-5.30pm
Friday - 8.30am-5.30pm
Permanent Part-time – Scarborough
Wednesday - 10.30am-8.00pm
Thursday - 8.30am-5.30pm
Saturday - 8.30am-12.30pm (alternate)
These permanent full time positions are a Level 5/6 – Inside Workforce Agreement position and attract a salary range of $64,994– $75,685 gross pro rata per annum plus superannuation and fantastic benefits.
This is a pool recruitment process and the City may engage casual and temporary Librarians across the City over the next six months from this process.
