Our Librarians are at the forefront of providing exemplary customer service to the patrons of our City’s Libraries. We are looking for people with a curious mindset who are keen to introduce innovative activity programmes and services for children and adults. The current focus on both positions are on children services. You will also be a role model for our Library Officer personnel enabling them to build on their current skill base, as well as provide assistance to senior members of the Library team with development and implementation of new initiatives To be successful in this role you will have excellent interpersonal skills to be able to communicate effectively with all stakeholders and contribute to the team success. You will need to be able to manage a number of initiatives at any one time and meet set deadlines, as well as demonstrate your ability to develop, promote, deliver and evaluate programmes effectively. You will need to hold a tertiary qualification that allows you Associate Membership to the Australian Library and Information Association, a current WA ‘C’ class motor vehicle driver’s license and if successful, a Working with Children Check. We get to make a difference in the community which brings great job satisfaction. We offer a competitive salary of $80,175 per annum (pro-rata) plus super.
