Council is seeking highly motivated individuals to undertake the above position. The Library Assistant will assist in providing a quality, customer focused library service to the Upper Hunter Shire and to support the delivery and promotion of these services and all other library activities.
What You Will Need
All applicants should possess a Certificate III in Library and Information Services or related field, have good public relations and interpersonal skills and the ability to assist with group Library activities such as children's activities, book clubs and library events. Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively as part of a team and independently as required is desirable.
The salary range for this position is $923.80 - $1034.70 per 35 hour week ($26.39 - $29.56 per hour plus 25% casual loading), in accordance with Council’s salary system. Other conditions are in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award and Council’s policies and procedures.
