Library Operations Team Leader (Emerald Hill)

An exciting opportunity exists for a library operations team leader to provide team leadership, drive new initiatives, and contribute to quality service planning and delivery at the Port Phillip Library Service, within the Cultural and Economic Development Department.
The successful applicant will work as part of a dynamic leadership team with responsibility for operations at the Emerald Hill branch Library. The role will also be responsible for building community connections, such as via supervision of our Home Library Service team. They will have a relevant professional library qualification and experience in the provision of excellent customer service, team leadership, reference and reader development services. This role includes rostered weekends and a weekly evening shift.
This position is temporary for a fixed term of 12 months and will suit a person who is resilient, energetic and flexible with enthusiasm for working with our diverse library users in a lively team environment, and who has the proven skills and experience in leading high-functioning customer service teams.
