About the Role
The Shire of Murray, a progressive organisation located in Pinjarra, is seeking an inspiring, dedicated and outcomes focussed professional with management experience in Library Services and a strong understanding of local government practices.
Reporting to the Director Place and Community Development, you will be responsible for ensuring the Shire’s Library Services remain progressive, relevant and meet the expectations and requirements of Council and the community.
Leadership, staff management, communication and customer service skills, together with a high level of computer literacy, are essential elements of the role.
The position on offer is a full-time position, working 76 hours across a 9-day fortnight. A Level 9 salary of between $84,256 to $88,705 per annum will be offered.
Qualification's, Skills and Experience
The successful applicant will ideally have tertiary qualifications in Library and Information Management and/or extensive experience in a senior/management role. Sound knowledge of local government processes will assist.
