Brimbank Libraries seek an innovative, strategic, and service focused library professional to join our Library Services and Programs team. The position will foster a creative and collaborative team-based environment in developing library programs and services that will support the learning needs and recreational interests of our community.
The role is responsible for: designing, planning and delivering programs, with a particular focus on developing digital literacy services for the community; face to face customer and information services, and as part of the branch senior staff team, lead and support staff.

Successful candidates will have proven knowledge of and experience of designing, planning and delivering programs, responsive customer service, collection materials, outreach services, and literacy-based programming, including early literacy tools and resources. You will also be responsible for providing assistance with technology. The technology assistance includes customer use of the Library’s public computers and library-supported software and the use of their own personal devices. Successful candidates must be able to assist customers from a range of cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
The role includes:
Fluency in a language other than English is desirable.
Interviews are likely to take place in the week beginning February 10.
