Casual Library Staff
Hawkesbury City Library Service is looking for enthusiastic, experienced and reliable casual staff to join the Library team. Applicants for both positions must be available to work at short notice including weekend and evening work at both Windsor and Richmond Libraries.
Casual Library Assistants
$32.58 per hour (includes casual loading)
Essential requirements include HSC or equivalent work experience, demonstrated customer service experience, excellent communication skills both written and verbal and the ability to work as part of a team. Computer knowledge and data entry skills as well as accuracy, attention to detail and time management skills are also essential.
Desirable position requirements/certificates include previous public library experience or similar environment and Class C Drivers Licence.
Casual Library Officers
$35.27 per hour (includes casual loading)
Essential requirements include a Diploma in Library and Information Services or significant completion or equivalent.
Other requirements for this position include demonstrated customer service skills, excellent communication skills both written and verbal and the ability to work as part of a team. Excellent computer knowledge, word processing and keyboard skills as well as accuracy and attention to detail and information research and retrieval skills are also essential.
Desirable position requirements/certificates include previous public library experience and Class C Drivers Licence.
