The role: 

You will lead a team that provides a range of services, technologies and programs that build meaningful connections and creates experiences that inspires discovery and lifelong learning.  You will collaborate across teams to ensure effective use is made of the multi-use community facility and actively contribute to the development of an innovative, high-quality City of Salisbury library service. This is a great opportunity to have a genuine and positive impact on our community.

Specialist Skills, Required Knowledge and Conditions: 

  • Experience in working in a public library and a knowledge of its role in a contemporary society
  • Understanding and the application of the principles of excellent customer service
  • Proven experience in supervising, training and motivating a team to achieve outcomes
  • Current Driver’s Licence and Police Clearance, Working with Children
  • Ability to work rostered flexible hours and locations
