Join the friendly and dedicated team at Willoughby City Library as one of our new Customer Experience Librarians.

The Customer Service team delivers high quality Customer Service to our community from all library locations, across all opening hours and to the housebound.

The Customer Experience Librarians, Weekend Library Supervisors and the Home Library Service Team all work together to deliver excellent Customer Service Across our community as part of the Customer Experience Team.

This is a permanent part time position of 16 hours per week

Week 1

  • Tuesday 5 hours  2pm – 7pm  West Chatswood
  • Tuesday 5 hours  2pm – 7pm  West Chatswood
  • Wednesday 4 hours 1pm – 5pm West Chatswood

Week 2

  • Wednesday 4 hours 1pm – 5pm West Chatswood
  • Thursday  7 Hours 12pm – 8pm Chatswood
  • Thursday 3.5 hours 4.30pm – 8pm Northbridge
  • Saturday 3.5 hours 9.30am – 1pm West Chatswood

To be successful you will need the ability to work independently at branch locations as well as actively contributing to the Customer Experience Team.

You will be using your excellent Customer service skills to provide exceptional services to library visitors across all library locations.

You will need to have relevant tertiary qualifications in library/information science or actively studying towards qualifications and have had experience working in libraries.

 Please note being fully vaccinated for Covid-19 is a requirement prior to commencement of employment with Willoughby City Council, except where a medical contraindication certificate is provided.
