About the business and the roles

Casey Cardinia Libraries is seeking two Digital Literacy Team Leaders:

Digital Literacy Team Leader

  • Full Time 35 hours per week, plus 1 Saturday in 4 and 1 Sunday in 8
  • Cranbourne and Endeavour Hills Libraries
  • Cranbourne on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
  • Endeavour Hills on Monday and Wednesday

Digital Literacy Team Leader

  • Full Time 35 hours per week, plus 1 Saturday in 4 and 1 Sunday in 8
    Bunjil Place, Hampton Park and Doveton Libraries
  • Hampton Park on Mondays
    Bunjil Place on Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays
  • Doveton on Wednesday

We have two exciting opportunities to join our digital literacy team.  Put your strong information and technology skills to the test! These positions offer a broad scope of duties including leadership, promotion and delivery of digital literacy programs for our community and contribute to the development and management of the organisation’s intranet. Although this role specialises in digital literacy, you will also be required to provide on desk customer experience in our libraries and support the branch manager.

Key selection criteria

  • Library qualifications conferring eligibility for professional membership of the Australian Library & Information Association OR
  • Lesser formal qualifications with relevant work skills and experience commensurate with the requirements of the work required
  • High level customer service skills
  • Proven leadership experience
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate with all ages, across all levels of the community
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet organisational strategic outcomes
  • Proven experience in designing and delivering training programs to adult learners.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate staff within a team environment
  • Time management, organisational and planning ability
  • Working with Children Check
  • Driver’s licence essential.
