The Position
The City has an opportunity for a Head of Library & Cultural Services to provide collaborative and strategic leadership to the Library and Cultural Services team.
Reporting to the Chief of Community Services you will be a member of the Senior Leadership Team contributing to the needs of the community and the City’s goals, vision and purpose.
You will provide strategic leadership and management in all aspects of library and cultural services through your leadership of a multi-disciplinary team encompassing the City’s three libraries, community events, arts and culture and local heritage.
About You
You will have experience at a similar senior management level with the ability to lead, motivate, engage and communicate effectively to work with staff and the community. You will provide inspirational and strategic leadership to the organisation with the proven capability to develop, motivate and empower your teams and foster a strong and inclusive culture.
As an experienced, innovative leader you will have outstanding interpersonal, engagement and analytical skills which compliment your ability to translate strategy
Salary: An attractive salary package is on offer depending on experience and qualifications.
