We have an exciting opportunity  for an experienced Outreach Officer to join our team at Willoughby City Council!

About the role

This role sits within the Customer Experience team, one of five library teams. This team focuses on the delivery of outstanding customer service to the library community, including at the branch libraries and via the home library service. 

This role is an exciting opportunity to introduce the community to the local branch libraries and home library services by:

  • Providing excellent customer experiences to all library users and visitors
  • Enabling the Home Library Service Customers to access library services
  • Facilitate contact between the library customers and other Council services
  • Supporting home library service customers to learn new technical skills

Requirements

  • Library Technician qualification
  • Current NSW Driver’s licence
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Sound capabilities to utilise technologies
  • Available to work every second Saturday
