The Package: $81,196.44 - $89,722.36 gross per annum + 10.5% super. (Evaluated as Grade 13 of the QPRC Salary System 2022).
Full time - 35 hours per week. Flex time conditions may apply.
Are you a highly motivated individual looking to work closely with your local community, delivering quality library experiences across the Council area? Position Overview: Team Leader - Customer Service Librarian will be primarily responsible for the development, coordination and delivery of high-quality experience programs to suit the needs of the community. Key target areas include face-to-face and online clients, community groups, housebound customers, children and youth, CALD and Indigenous community and the mobile library. The team leader will market, promote, and publicise library experiences and seek to foster and develop connections with stakeholders and the community, including partnerships.
The successful candidate will demonstrate experience and high level skills in the development, implementation and management of experiences in libraries including customer interactions, marketing, and coordination of events and programs and developed leadership skills.
Tertiary qualifications in Library or Information studies (recognised by the Australian Library & Information Association), and/or experience working in a similar library environment role are essential.
