Hume City Council Libraries is looking for a suitably qualified person who has a passion working with young people and engaging members of the young community in learning, library, and cultural activities. To be successful in this role you will be required to work across the Hume municipality developing, facilitating, and implementing a diverse range of library and learning activities and programs for young people aged 12-23 years.
You will bring a collaborative approach to the role, building partnerships and working closely with Council's Youth Engagement and Pathways team to provide learning pathways for young people.
Key Skills
- Tertiary qualifications in the areas of youth, recreation, community services, library, teaching or equivalent.
- Experience in working with young people in diverse communities.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and build partnerships that will benefit our young community.
- Ability to develop, plan and facilitate programs for young people in a library or similar setting.
