Your opportunity

We are seeking four Library Officers to join our awesome team! We have two permanent opportunities (Victoria Point x 1), and two maximum term contracts available (ending 22 April 2025 and 30 June 2025).

As our Library Officer you will provide excellent customer service and support across various library functions. The role involves delivering a range of programs and services to meet the informational and educational needs of library clients, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment. Responsibilities include assisting with digital services, troubleshooting technology issues, coordinating public computer use, and supporting WiFi and eResources. The Library Officer will also handle circulation tasks, respond to basic reference enquiries, and help plan and deliver library events and programs. A key part of the role is following Workplace Health and Safety procedures to maintain a secure environment, as well as contributing to the development of work procedures for consistent service delivery. The Library Officer will also participate in project teams, support team activities, and assist in training new staff.
