Circulation Clerk

Part time – 38 hours per fortnight

Salary Range is $62,000 – $68,000 per annum (pro-rata) per annum (inclusive of 10% loading for working across 6 days of the week) plus 11% super

New Industrial Agreement 2024 with pay rises in July 2024, 2025 & 2026

What You Will Be Working On

As a Circulation Clerk, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting automated circulation tasks and assisting library users.
  • Assisting with borrower registrations and providing materials to homebound patrons.
  • Managing financial transactions and participating in community engagement activities.

About You

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • Excellent customer service attitude.
  • Strong digital skills and proficiency in using library technology.
  • Familiarity with public library operations and readers’ advisory.
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Effective time management abilities and teamwork.
  • Awareness of current reading trends and general knowledge.
  • Demonstrate an ability to interpret procedures effectively
  • Current C Class Drivers Licence and the ability to obtain a current National Police Certificate.
