The Opportunity

Noosa Council is seeking a qualified and high-achieving leader to join our team.

In this role, you will coordinate the development, delivery and evaluation of diverse, innovative, and inclusive library programs that foster community literacy, lifelong learning, and social connection.

Through your expert leadership of volunteer services, adult literacy and home library services, you will play an instrumental role in ensuring Noosa library services actively engage all facets of our community.

Additionally, you will oversee the promotion and marketing of library services and programs, with a strong focus on increasing community awareness and participation.

As a member of the Library Leadership Team, your contribution to the strategic direction and continuous improvement of the Library Service will be significant.

This is a full-time, permanent role offering the opportunity to work in a beautiful environment, within a passionate and supportive team.

  • Position Remuneration: Level 5.1 ($96,756 Base annual salary) / ($109,826. Total remuneration package which is based on a permanent full-time employee and inclusive of 12% employer superannuation and 17.5% leave loading).

You will hold a graduate or post-graduate qualification in Information Services, Education, Marketing, Event Management, or a related discipline
