Working as a part of our dynamic Library team, the Local History Librarian will be responsible for operating an effective Local History service to meet the needs of the community by providing timely research services to customers, including Councillors and other Council staff and to effectively manage the library’s Local History collection including the digitisation, preservation and promotion of these resources.
To be successful you will need to have tertiary qualifications in addition to experience in digitizing and researching and conserving local history. You will also have demonstrated excellent communication skills including writing skills and the ability to provide excellent customer service to a wide range of stakeholders.
