Team Leader Library Programs

City of Mount Gambier has an exciting opportunity for a motivated and driven individual to join the Mount Gambier Library.

About the position:

  • Full-time – 12-month fixed term contract.
  • Flexible working arrangements available.

The position is responsible for developing and implementing a coordinated program of activities and events and lead the programs team to deliver these providing excellence in library and customer service for the community.

This position supervises the Adult Programs team.

This position is classified at Level 4 (currently $89,224.81 per annum) of the City of Mount Gambier Administration Staff Agreement No.12 2022.

About you:

  • Experience supervising and leading a team to deliver programs and events.
  • High level of interpersonal skills and the ability to provide services and programs to all members of the community, including people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds and people with disabilities.
  • Proven public speaking experience.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member.
  • Understanding of new and emerging technologies relating to best practice in library service delivery.
  • Experience in developing, promoting, delivering and evaluating events and programs. What we offer:
