About the Opportunity:
An opportunity has become available to join our Library team as the Casuarina Library Supervisor!
Key service delivery outcomes include:
- You will lead and supervise the Casuarina Library team, motivating employees to deliver a consistent and responsive customer experience.
- Ensure presentation of the inside and outside of library spaces are optimised to provide a supportive, safe, inclusive community space for all.
- Lead the recruitment, onboarding, and retention of volunteers across multiple library locations.
- Contribute to library operational projects that improve services and spaces.
- Assist in training and induction of all new staff.
- This role requires some flexibility, including availability for weekend and occasional evening work, as well as the ability to work across multiple locations.
This position has a base salary of $95,527.23 per annum plus superannuation. City of Darwin also provides generous leave entitlements such as 6 weeks annual leave and 15 days personal leave!
About You:
To be considered for the role you must have:
- Bachelor Degree in library studies, community development, customer service or equivalent qualifications.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a similar role.
- Minimum of one (1) year of leadership experience including managing staff/volunteers.
- Possession of a Class C Drivers Licence.
- Current NT Working with Children Clearance (Ochre Card).
