About the role:

We are seeking two dynamic and enthusiastic customer-oriented individuals to join our Library Services team as Customer Service Officers. The successful candidates will have exemplary customer service skills and enjoy interacting with community members of different ages and cultures. Customer Service Officers play a crucial role in ensuring a positive and enriching experience for library customers.

Duties include:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to library users, including assisting with locating library materials, answering inquiries, and resolving any issues or concerns.
  • Assist patrons with the use of library resources and technology, including computers, printers, and e-resources.
  • Deliver the full range of Council and Library services through Council’s libraries.
  • Assist in the delivery of programs and activities.
  • Work at any of Council’s libraries as rostered including evenings and weekends.

About you:

To be successful in this role you will have:

  1. HSC or equivalent

  2. Driver License (Class C – NSW)

  3. Experience in a high volume, fast paced customer service environment.

Position details:

2x Permanent Part-time roles, S0328 & S0526, – 14 hours per week
Salary: From $36.54 per hour + Superannuation + Performance Bonus (up to 2% annual salary) + Organisational Bonus (up to $2K) + Aquatic and Fitness membership discounts

The positions are based at Vinegar Hill Memorial Library at Rouse Hill as well as Baulkham Hills and Dural Libraries, however the successful applicants must be willing to work at any of Council’s Libraries. Hours will be as rostered and include weekend, day, and evening shifts.
