Richmond Tweed Regional Library (RTRL) is seeking a dynamic and innovative Systems and Resources Librarian to lead our Systems and Resources team. Based at the Support Services building in Goonellabah, this role is pivotal in ensuring the effective management of our library collections and systems. Join a team that is committed to delivering high-quality library services and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This position is permanent full-time working 70 hours a fortnight.

What we trust you to deliver

Lead and develop a cohesive, high-performing team dedicated to delivering exceptional library services.

Oversee the development, maintenance, and access of all library collections, ensuring they meet community needs and incorporate emerging technologies.

Manage major projects related to information technology systems and applications within the library environment.

Collaborate with the RTRL Management Team and IT department to develop and implement strategies that enhance library services and systems.

What you'll need to be successful
-
Tertiary qualifications in Library and Information Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience in a leadership role within a public library, particularly in managing library systems and services.

Proven experience in project management, with the ability to manage concurrent tasks and meet deadlines.

Experience in applying information technologies to service delivery in a library setting.

A valid Class C Drivers Licence
