The Role
To provide efficient and effective delivery of library services to meet the needs of the community. This includes performing a range of library, customer service and administrative tasks that support the effective operation of the library. Assist in the design, development and implementation of new or upgraded finance systems to ensure seamless integration with other finance and business systems and business processes.
- Provide high-quality customer service across all library service points.
- Assist with the day-to-day operations of the library service points and general enquiries.
- Assist with the shelving, display, and general maintenance of library collections.
- Instruct and assist customers in the use of library resources and technologies.
- Provide support for library projects, deliver programs and assist with other duties as directed by supervisors.
About You
- Diploma or Certificate IV in Library Studies or equivalent or studying towards.
- Proven experience in a customer-facing role and an enthusiastic approach to working with the community.
- Experience working in a Library environment.
- Demonstrated technology skills and a high level of digital literacy.
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills with sound conflict resolution skills
