  • Coordinate and lead the RTRL staff technology user group, fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing and consistent practice across library branches.
  • Deliver advice, assistance and coordinated training to support digital literacy for staff and the community across all library systems and eResources.
  • Develop and manage data, analytics and governance reporting dashboards, and support reporting needs for forums, meetings and presentations.
  • Contribute to IT policy development, technology planning and contract administration in alignment with the RTRL Strategic Plan.
  • Support library technology channels and applications, research emerging systems and trends, and maintain ICT risk, compliance and security posture.

What you will need to be successful:

  • Relevant library or IT qualification (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience applying technology to service delivery, including system upgrades, new digital services and web‑based library platforms.
  • Experience delivering IT training and support to both staff and the public, with a strong customer service focus.
