Bay View Community Centre Library Officer – Part Time (0.19 FTE)
Salary $71,012 per annum (pro rata), $35.94 per hour plus 15.5% superannuation
The Town is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate part-time Library Officer to work at Bay View Community Centre Library. This role requires availability on Thursdays from 3:30 pm to 7:00 pm and Saturdays from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, with additional shifts available based on site requirements.
This role will work with the Town’s small but dedicated library team to:
- Assist library users by providing exceptional customer service.
- Process new resources/stock such as covering and accessioning.
- Manage, deliver and promote the home delivery program.
- Utilise library software (Spydus) to record library stock movements and assist with collection management and exchanges.
- Shelve library items.
