Job Description

The Wattle Range Council is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Library Assistant to join our team at the Millicent Library. This is a permanent part-time role of 8hours per week.

This position supports Council's library and cultural services functions within the Development Services Directorate, Library and Cultural Services Department, located in Millicent. The role requires providing general facility administrative support, assisting with facilitation of Council's library, gallery and cultural services functions, monitoring and maintaining compliance with all Council policies, procedures and legislative requirements within assigned delegations of authority, and performing other functions as directed by the Library and Cultural Services Manager. This position requires a significant degree of flexibility and resilience as Council is a complex and multi-disciplined organisation that deals with competing priorities that change on a regular basis.
