About the role

This position is a permanent full-time role in the Community Development and Participation team, based at Moruya. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and coordinating vibrant library teams, resources and facilities that provide programs, services and events that support lifelong learning and library engagement outcomes.

The starting salary for this position is $93,585.69 per annum plus 12% superannuation.

About you

You’re a passionate leader who thrives on creating vibrant, community-focused library services. You enjoy working collaboratively, driving innovation, and ensuring libraries remain welcoming spaces for lifelong learning.

You will bring:

  • Proven success in coordinating dynamic library services, including continuous improvement and program development.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in staff supervision, team development, and conflict resolution.
  • A track record of fostering superior customer service and delivering innovative programs that engage the community.
  • Experience managing budgets, including grant funding and acquittals.
  • Ability to build and maintain partnerships and collaborative projects.Proficiency with technology, electronic resources, and Library Management Systems.
