About the Opportunity
In this role you will provide excellent service to all customers by being warm, friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. You will enrich our customers experience by providing positive, meaningful and relevant choices, suggestions and referrals. You will undertake accurate and timely processing and maintenance of our collections. Various tasks within this role include, but are not limited to assisting customers with borrowing, returning and selecting items, delivering programs and supporting customers in using the Virtual Library and digital technologies.

To be successful in this role you will have:
- Experience in delivering a high level of customer satisfaction in a customer service environment.
- Experience supporting customers with using computers, email and the internet.
- Sound knowledge of the role of the Public Library within the community.
- Previous experience using automated library systems and services, and knowledge or understanding of the Public Library Service Network in SA would be beneficial.

Please be advised this is a 0.6 FTE part-time, permanent opportunity with a starting salary at the Level 2 Classification commencing at $62,966 pro rata + 10% superannuation. Please note that this role works as part of a roster which includes some weekend and evening work across our 3 library centres.
