About the role
Reporting to the Library Experience Coordinator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of branch libraries in accordance with organisational policies and procedures
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Supervision and allocation of workflows within the branch team
- Evaluate performance, identify training needs and provide coaching for branch staff
- Contributing to, and supporting the achievement of the Library’s improvement goals, activities and initiatives
- Customer-focused service delivery to library clients
Required experience & skills:
- Qualifications as a librarian recognised by the Australian Library & Information Association (ALIA)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in a Team Leader role
- Contemporary knowledge of library and information trends
- Experience delivering library services within the public sector
- Current Working with Children Check

**As a part of the branch network team this role will be required to work at any of our libraries as rostered. A willingness to work flexible hours on occasion, including rostered evening and weekend work will be required**
