Salary: $101,400 - $111,569 per annum + 11% superannuation

Our amazing library service is seeking a creative and dynamic event and marketing specialist, who is passionate about libraries, to take it to the next level.

The successful candidate will enjoy the challenge of working in a leading public library service and the opportunity to develop the Randwick City Library’s events and marketing strategy and coordinate a program of events that will delight our community.

We trust you to bring:

  • Undergraduate degree or relevant tertiary qualifications with extensive hands-on experience in a related position.
  • Event planning and organisational skills and ability to present exceptional community events
  • Exceptional oral and written communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Graphic design skills, including experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (includes Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
  • Experience in developing and implementing marketing strategies and campaigns
  • Digital marketing experience including the use of content management systems, EDMS, and social media platforms.

Things you will do:

  • Develop and implement a library marketing plan to meet current and future community needs.
  • Manage Randwick City Library’s digital marketing presence across all online platforms including eNewsletters, social media platforms and website.
  • Manage on-site marketing of library activities, ensuring the brand integrity of all design elements and promotional material produced.
  • End-to-end planning, management and promotion of events, projects, and functions, such as author talks, exhibition launches and outreach events.
  • Manage the exhibition space at Lionel Bowen Library and exhibition calendar.
