The Town library is looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and experienced Library Services Officer for a part-time role (24 hours per week)
The role will commence early January 2025.
Your new role
In the role of Library Services Officer, you will:
- Provide exceptional customer service and community engagement
- Assist community to access a range of information and resources
- Acknowledge the diversity of the community as we cultivate a welcoming space and a range of services to suit their needs
Some evening and weekend work may be required.
What you’ll need to succeed
- exceptional customer service skills and the ability to work in a high functioning and busy team
- enthusiastic and proactive approach towards your work
- previous experience in a public library and the use of Library Management Systems e.g.: Spydus
- experience using and showcasing the Western Australia Public Libraries Digital Media Collections and other online resources
- willingness to deliver Storytime, Baby Rhymetime and other sessions if required.

- salary range of $68,806 - $70,867 per annum (pro rata)
