JOB DESCRIPTION

About the role

This position is responsible for providing positive customer experiences and supporting the Branch Librarian or Team Leader to ensure the smooth running of library services. Created to assist in the provision of high-quality customer experiences, this role is located at Parramatta Library.

On a daily basis, you will:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and build positive connections with the local community
  • Assist in delivering high quality community-focussed programs
  • Support team members in the use of library services
  • Work closely with other teams and implement improvements to enhance enjoyment of the library
  • Ensure that each customer receives a positive customer experience 

About you

You’ll bring a background in delivering exceptional customer service with the ability to proactively engage with the community. Alongside your solutions-focused mindset, you will bring a track record of delivering a range of customer experiences, and willingness to give innovative ideas a go!

You’ll thrive in a flexible approach to customer service and take personal responsibility to ensure that all customers receive a positive customer experience with a high level of knowledge of the library’s services, collections and programs.

Qualifications:

  • Working with Children Check. 
  • Criminal history check 
  • HSC certificate or equivalent relevant experience

What’s on offer

This is a permanent part-time opportunity of 24hrs per week.

We are offering an attractive remuneration from $63,891 to $70,336 (pro-rata) plus 11% superannuation
