Library Officer - Casual

The Rural City of Murray Bridge is located 75 kilometres South East of Adelaide, on the bank of the River Murray on the lands of the Ngarrindjeri people.

The Murray Bridge Library is the largest public Library in the Murraylands region serving the local community, surrounding areas, and visitors from overseas and interstate for more than 60 years.

We are currently recruiting casual Library Officers to join our passionate and committed team. The Library Team is committed to providing high-quality, safe, and positive customer experiences.

As a casual Library Officer, you will assist in the provision of innovative library and information services that support learning, community well-being, and access to information.

Successful applicants will demonstrate that they have the following knowledge, skills, and attributes:

  • Certificate III in Library and Information Services
  • Proactive and flexible
  • Excellent customer service
  • Previous experience in a similar role would be preferred but is not essential
  • Current National Police Check
  • Current DHS Working with Children Check
  • Available for weekday, weekend, and after-hours work.
