About Us

About the Role

The role is dedicated to delivering exceptional library services and positive customer experiences, with a key focus on assisting with enquiries (library, council, and visitor information), digital support, and contributing to program support and collection maintenance.  The role will work across Council’s libraries, including outreach locations, and will report to the Coordinator, Libraries and Customer Experience.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong interpersonal skills and work ethic, with an ability to actively contribute to a positive team culture and welcoming environment for all customers.
  • Experience in providing excellent service to a diverse range of customers.
  • Knowledge of Council and library services and the role they play in supporting the community.
  • Library, Community or Customer Service qualifications would be highly regarded.
  • A solution-based mindset.
